Cycles of Matter
Oxygen is very important to the tundra animals because they breath it in. Without it they would all die. The oxygen starts from the plant. The plant goes through photosynthesis creating oxygen. The oxygen then travels through the atmosphere, then the animals breathe it in. The plant breathes in Carbon dioxide and breathes out the oxygen. The cycle repeats. “How does the way that matter flows throughout an ecosystem differ from the way thatenergy flows through an ecosystem?” Its different because the energy comes from the plants and animals being eaten whereas the oxygen comes from a cycle of breathing in and out, includes plants animals, the sun, and the atmosphere.
